Bannisters is located at Mollymook Beach, on the south coast of New South Wales. Nearby is Ulladulla, the largest town in the area.

Mollymook is about a three to three and a half hour drive from Sydney, with many interesting townships along the way, on both coastal and inland routes. Rental cars are readily available in Sydney, some quite cheap with unlimited mileage options. Parking is available at Bannisters for all guests.

Public transport options are available but limited - there is no train service, however there are several bus services, including some that connect with a train service rom Sydney, many terminating in Ulladulla.
